Okay, I got zero response last time I tried this but since we have more watchers now I think I'll try again.
Every so often in my kanji a day calendar comes a *Practice Page*, just a blank grid for writing kanji. I thought we could use this as a 'Let's See What You've Learned'... thing. So once again I'd like to ask for your participation, if you feel up to it!

I'd like you to create some sort of artwork (This is deviantART after all) featuring any of the kanji that we've learned so far. It can be a drawing, a comic, a written dialogue- anything! Fan art, original, Hetalia or not, whatever you'd like! You don't have to use the kanji in a sentence but it would be nice if you could make one for practice's sake. Feel free to use any of the words or pairings shown here.

RESOURCES

Japanese Dictionary You don't need Japanese installed and you can type in romaji in the 'Japanese' input- it'll automatically change to hiragana and display the kanji near the word in addition to the pronounciation. OR, you can look up the kanji (Don't worry, you can type in romaji here too!) and it will look it up. Click on it when you find it, and you can select "Words containing/ending in/beginning with" etc.

Kanji Dictionary (Click Direct Input to search) This requires direct input so either you have to type the kanji in (Ask if you have windows XP and would like to install Japanese on your computer!) or copy/paste it from somewhere. It will give you a list of words that can be made using your chosen kanji- just click "Show/Hide".

PRIZES

I thought just to get people active we could have a little free sketch for anyone who entered. When you've submitted your entry just let me know and tell me what you'd like drawn. I'm comfortable with fan art as long as it's something I'm familliar with (Check my main account to see my fan art folder/interests whatever for 100% for-sure things) and I don't mind drawing original characters as long as you've got a good reference picture or two.
I'd like to limit this to one or two characters (I suck at groups and I don't want this to be a huge thing: I do have school. XD) Oh, and I'm not terribly good at fluffy romantic pictures but I'll try if you really want them. But let's keep it PG, mkay?
If I have time I'll try and add colour. XD

I really want to get this to be a little more like a community; I want to get to know you a little and really help you learn. PLEASE ask questions. I'm bored. XD And I don't want this to feel like a chore.
